Evan is an exceptionally pale male leveling at 5’8”. He has unkempt, dark brown hair which usually seems a plain ebony to the naked eye, especially with his tendency to stay within dark environments. His irises are a mocha hue which often pair with dark circles hanging under them. A faintly angled facial structure deems a sustained tired expression. From lack of proper rest, Evan generally perpetuates the same visage: a grit, insincere grin that often finds it hard to show indication of changing humors.
His frame is rather small, a poor and slumped posture aiding in his figure. Dark, usually oversized hoodies and t-shirts also help in his outward appearance of lanky frailty. Though he has enough money earned from his unruly job, to ensure a safe trek away from bankruptcy, the hood never uses his expenses upon proper clothing or even meals in said manner.
Recent addition— Due to a brutal beating by that of a close companion, Evan lost his right canine. He has a pointed golden crown as a replacement.

Evan is a person that instinctively leans towards not caring about anything.
Once tending to become easily stressed, he uses an apathetic cover-up to the point where being unconcerned about everything is the absolute usual. Even in difficult situations, Evan remains unimpressionable, which has often dealt him more harm than good. If come across an aggressor, intimidation seems to leave him unfazed and in the end only amplified the beating that follows.
Despite the physical strains he endures whilst entangled in his gang activity, Evan is a habitually lackadaisical person. Whenever he’s not itching for an adrenaline-induced distraction, he’s probably sleeping off a drug-induced distraction.
He has a dark humor with no boundaries, typically when it comes to degrading himself. This in which spawns from a macabre absorption of self disgust. Evan is aware of his unhealthy habits but is too convinced he is unable to better himself, thus confrontation towards improvement is never marked to meet.
On some occasions, Evan can seem unpredictable and aggressive. Even as a child he became irritable under the weight of strenuous conditions such as tests and extracurricular performances. If he is handling a rather rugged situation, his casual attempt to lighten the atmosphere or scoff at the face of peril is likely to evanescent.

Despite his current residency in Chicago, Evan originates from a small rural town at the edge of Wisconsin. He had a relatively healthy early lifestyle within a household that held both parents and a younger sister. As a child, he showed plenty of ingenuity. Evan was creative and clung to naive efforts to ameliorate his small world. Growing up, he was similar to many other children with a mother that pushed a robust emphasis on good educational performance and a father that kindled harshly upon a strong manhood. In school he’d strive for good grades in order to please his family and later in high school moreover to continue a fit competition with other classmates. His sole idea was to focus on his future and acquire a job as a trauma surgeon. Seeing it only apt, he enrolled in many exclusive programs well along with college courses. Book work was something he willingly revolved his teenage years around while concurrently upholding an attentive relationship with friends within the small town community. Because of this, he managed to complete high school at a young age and quickly met many of the requirements it took to become a medical student with an advantageous start. At his attended university, he excelled all his courses, containing the adept comprehension of the subjected areas. During his second year, Evan suffered the loss of his little sister due to a car wreck. This and his anxiety that often paired in his desperate attempt to keep his good grades unwavering sent him into a panicked, psychological break. Evan bitterly endured the five stages of grief in reverse.

His mind had convinced himself that his sister wasn’t dead in means to cope, thus perpetually remaining in denial. Always having an adjoining kinship, her passing couldn't register in his already distraught mind.
Because of this, he became a college dropout and rid himself of all contact from his family. Evan moved away to Illinois and stumbled across the quickest path to self destruction which happened to be intertwining with gang dealings. Valentine, the head of the group Forty-Three's inducted the lowly boy and stationed him as an unacclaimed footrest. He quickly became complacent with rating at the lowest of their ranks, unbothered by wallowing at the rock bottom and the consistent mistreatment that came along with it. Strangely enough, he is placid by his misemployed peers and fleetingly grew a liking and dependence for the people he works for, no matter the circumstances they put him through. Though the transition from a seemingly exemplary honor student to the grovelling criminal life was more than great, he adapted quickly. Within the next three weeks of his merge, Evan Amano was easily flanked as a felon. The company of the other gang members is never of entirely good intention but he grew oddly comfortable within the midst of fervent hostility. Merely, as long as he isn't in a dreadful state of isolation, any attention given to him is greatly accepted. This places him at sort of a Stockholm situation.
Because of Evan’s mental reliance on his leader, he is constantly woven into the troubles of the gang. From linked murders to drug heists, arson and theft, Evan has contributed to the gang’s progression one way or another. Even if the nineteen year old isn’t quite dangerous as an individual, his associates makes him a threatening and potentially toxic person.

Valen’s intensity as a harsh and unforgiving leader is often aided by his authoritative features. Despite being older than many in his business, his body is well shaped for the ‘conditions’ he has to work in and levels at 6’3. He has broad shoulders and a composed posture, head held high and sharp jaw cleanly shaven. Depending on what sort of environment he is in, his facial features change to what seems like an almost different person. For some, it’s his charming smile that stands out, and other’s his cruel, grey eyes.
The mafia leader is always seen in custom tailored clothing, his countless blazers and suits being hardly a scratch in his income.

It’s Valen’s manipulative and dominant nature that allowed him to maintain the position as the boss man. He can easily earn the respect of anyone he needs to use, and if respect isn’t in his company’s temperament, fear is just as simply instilled. He’s smart, cunning, and has learned over his years how to utilize people’s weaknesses and desires to drive them in the direction he wants them to go. Everyone is a pawn. This dynamic he’s gained with others has made him powerfulー so much so that the only thing that could quite possibly dethrone him is his own demise.

Evan was brought to Valen bloodied and broken by his men after the boy had wandered too far into one of their private projects. Despite his battered condition, Evan pleaded for a place to stay and involvement in their “business” for he was in desperate need of a purposeful distraction.
Evan often didn’t complete his work gracefully, but his untiring loyalty for Valen provided him a place amongst the leader’s ranks.
Because Valen is somewhat aware of Evan’s psychological issues causing his adherence to the Forty-Three’s, he doesn’t hesitate to physically, emotionally and sexually abuse him. Knowing that whatever he does won’t encourage him to leave, the sadist enjoys using him as a footrest and a lackey.

Being inherently a kind-natured individual, Matty can typically get along with most company. Once becoming acquainted and comfortable around a person, his playful sarcasm will make its way into show, proving for good humor and goodwill.

Matthew Thomas is one of few subjects that truly brings genuine light into Evan’s life. The two met after one of Evan’s aimless treks through the Chicago streets. The hoodlum struck the conversation and the baker was kind enough to keep it, despite his disheveled resemblance to a junkyard dog.
They kept their exchanges much longer than a general passing-by, and soon enough they became well-acquainted.
Since then, Matty continues to keep Evan straight through his mafia vices and gives him the taste of the regular lifestyle he so poorly lacks in.

Maddox mirrors a certain mafia leader’s intensity. With a strong set jaw and edged lines that make his visage, his features compliment his line of work well. His eyes are a hollow green, with dark brown curls he attempts to keep above his eyes. His serious take on life reflect in his expressions and though he smiles with sincerity, his fists are just as sincere.
𝙋𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮
Maddox is a self-satisfied character, driven by his own ambitions and subconscious urge to stay on top. He’s proven to be fiery and ill-tempered when confronted with opposing aggressions, but in normal circumstances is approachable and overall agreeable in nature.
The power in his line of work spawns his assertiveness. This nature, however, takes nothing away from his sociability and altruism towards trusted friends.
In general, his tense hostility isn’t shown unless been given a reason.
Relations
Maddox, the regretful nephew and godson of Angelo Valentine, sought out to kill him after the resulting death of his parents and girlfriend. Self-trained as a hitman, he took it to himself to end the life of the leader of the Forty-Three’s. In doing so, he gathered as much information as possible and began scouring the streets of Chicago for his last drop of blood.
This lead Maddox to one of Angelo’s illegal warehousing where he kept shipments of unregistered firearms and narcotics. Evan was unlucky enough to had been leaving this location upon Maddox’s slick arrival and the hoodlum was cornered by the mercenary.
Maddox’s efforts in beating any answers out of Evan were futile, but in taking him hostage within his own apartment, they grew to form an unsteady relationship. These volatile relations consist of Maddox desperately attempting to convince Evan to reveal Angelo’s whereabouts and Evan being just helpful enough to keep himself alive by both parties.
Of course, any other poor soul might have just been eliminated by Maddox, but upon Evan staring down the hit man’s barrel, an isolated incident of ‘change in heart’ kept him alive.
